The Land O'Lakes area lives up to it's namesake with a wide variety of
lakes for fishing, boating, waterskiing, or ice fishing, including Lac
Vieux Desert, the headwaters of the Wisconsin River, and home of the
World's largest Tiger Musky.
The Cisco Chain of 15 lakes has 281 miles of scenic shoreline. These lakes and many others are a home to Musky, Walleye, Northern Pike, Trout, Bass, and panfish. The Sylvania Wilderness Area offers 21,000 acres of virgin timber and 37 crystal clear lakes. We offer 114 km of groomed snowmobile trails connecting the 600 miles of Vilas County trails with the trails in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. There are also over 20 miles of cross country ski trails through the Sylvania Wilderness and the surrounding area. |
